Hmmm, the trunk lid looks a little rounded but otherwise, I don't see the difference. Maybe the taillights will also have the horizontal red lines as in the new X5, 3-series, 7-series....

Horizontal CELIS LEDs will be the standard on all BMWs. A signature for rear like the angel eyes for front.

Coming in March 2007. 530 in US will be replaced by I6 bi-turbo with 306 HP and 525i will be replaced by 528i. Flex-ray technology. CELIS LED's in rear lights. Shifter and interior will be like the new X5. Five new colors and all the changes as below.

No change in engine on 550i.

They really should do something with the engine inthe 550i. The E550 and the GS lexus are both pumping out 380hp or more. I dont get BMW. They can easily get more hp out of that 4.8. its a huge engine. I thought the 5 series already had the celis rear lights. If they dont what are they currently using then for the rear lights. Are they leds. I thought the 2003 5 series E39 had celis tech in the rear lights too.

It certainly should, since the current 530 has a manual, and the current 335 has a manual. Not just a manual, but a better shifter and clutch than previous versions, at least on the demo I drove.

Also, as the 335 is rumoured to be coming in an x version in the spring, there should be x versions of the 535.

I was interested in whether the 535T will come in other than an x version, but it is becoming an academic question for me having driven the 335 coupe.

The salesman today confirmed that the 335 will be offered with awd in the spring.
