yellow convert. m5

I just wanted to know: Whatever became of the member who was buying his 16yr old daughter an 06 yellow convert. M5? Did he make it happen? I believe he is a doctor or something with boatloads of cash, and she did very well in school and was being rewarded. Did he make it happen?

:dunno: never heard. Did you find the thread?

LeMansX5 12-19-2006 05:28 PM

Found it.

Thanks LeMansX5! I dont want to start an uproar over this again (that thread got pretty rough), but I recently attended a wine tasting event and a guy told me his brother just purchased an 06 convert. Caddy CTS-V. So I'm thinking maybe the brother got it all twisted, cuz there ain't no such car......but he insisted, and I let it rest (although it pained me to do so).
It did get me thinking about nupe10123 and the M5. I am gonna drop him a pm; not to get it started again; just to find how he made out.......

Damn...I'm fairly A-O and like to dig in the web, but I
don't find this search function espc. helpful and often
give up; maybe give up too soon.

I too, am curious on the outcome of the car purchase
for the 16 yr old kid. ;)

Well, LM...I need some lessons.

I can search the hell outta GOOG, et al.
Here I can find pages of "threads", but
few have the thread/post I'm looking for and,
even being a damn good speed reader, it
is a laborious search, imo.

Maybe it's these older, worn azz out, neurons. :)

That was a great read... if it wasn't BS, I call dibs on the engine and tranny after a 16 yo wraps a 500hp machine around a pole or tree.
