Any ideas what is changing on the new 3?

I'm trying to decide if I want to wait or get a 335i now???

I don't know that anything is changing, that design is pretty much brand new.

BB, have you driven one of these? Everyone seems to love 'em.

The sedan will be 'refreshed' coinciding with the new market release of the C-class & new A4...

Updated 3 series will get BER

Updated 3 series will get BER around October production of 07.

"BMW debuted its new Brake Energy Regeneration technology when it first released its updated 5-series saloon back in January. The facelifted 1-series hatch followed soon after, it too featuring the fuel saving technology. Now, Dutch website Autovisie.nl reports that we’ll soon see the same technology on the updated 3-series sedan due in October.

The Brake Energy Regeneration system uses a beefed up alternator and battery to recycle previously lost energy, in turn saving fuel. This is achieved as the alternator reduces drag on the engine by only engaging when required to charge the battery, whereas a traditional alternator is always pulling power from the engine. Some models will also feature an automatic start-stop function to save fuel. The system automatically switches the engine off when the vehicle is stationary and restarts when the driver engages the clutch pedal before pulling away in a normal manner. A third fuel saving device is the electronic power steering system that only draws power when assistance is required, such as turning a corner.

Gasoline powered models will also benefit from BMW’s latest high-precision fuel injection features, which on the 320i, for example, will lift output from 150 to 170hp. The 320d, on the other hand, is expected to debut BMW’s super efficient 400Nm four-cylinder diesel."

Unless you need the possible new tech, I suggest get one now.

The sedan may get a facelift, but it won't be anything substantial. The coupe just came out, so I dont see changes on that. Most of the tech is already up-to-date and stuff like the iPod/USB option were made available a month ago. I foresee another leap in prices, since that's the trend in recent years.
