oooo...interesting...

this thing looks like it can top $40000 fully loaded...

strange how they don't have a leather named after a US state anymore

kirkX5m 07-26-2007 02:22 PM

cant wait to see final US pricing and availability, if timing is right, ill pick the 135 over the 335 i had planned to get in march

How much do you think a 128i will cost?

vinuneuro 07-26-2007 02:59 PM

I'd guess a price similar to the TSX.

exactly my thoughts....and I'd probably take a TSX over one...so they better make it competitive. But you still can't beat the badge on the hood.

TSX is a terrific vehicle, and the only Acura I would probably buy. But it's front wheel drive.........and I think my lawnmower has more torque. Plus you couldn't possibly live with an automatic in the high-revving TSX.

But the 1-series will be a coupe, so it really is a different thing.

High-revving? It has a 7k rpm redline. And it's got plenty of tq for a 4cyl, and relatively early. I do agree that it's pretty slow with the auto though. Why would anyone get an auto when the 6spd is as fantastic as it is..

It's a great car, with fantastic suspension. Only worth it with the manual.
