Nail in the tire fun
The wife is driving and the low tire pressure light comes on with run flat instructions but there's no flat. ( And we don't have run flats anyway)
Hmmmmmmm  fortunately we are near a BMW dealer so we drive in and they check it out and WALA they find a nail in the tire. So off we go to wheel works (Not the cheepest place) and in about 1 1/2 hour total we are back on the road. End of tire adventure............ Moral?? None.... warning light works like it should. |
never go to wheelworks unless you want scratches on the rims.

We watched every move the guy made. Guy was really nice and used kid gloves to do the job. Even gave some advice regarding what wheel cleaner to use and the advice was ok.
One thing though. They like to perform what they call complimentary services, Checking fluids ect ect. We promptly put the brakes on that. OBTW. I finally got the damaged lip on the front drivers side wheel repaired. A great job done right in my driveway.......... Quote:

the problem with them is they don't invest in torque wrenches and impact wrench the lugs one after another without going across. EB BMW said they had a couple cases of them warping the rotors from over tightening.
BTW, I wonder if they know how to check the oil on the E60.. LOL Quote:
