Small little upgrade for the E46 M3
 

The original air filter was getting dirty and instead of putting another BMW OEM filter, I decided to try this drop-in panel filter from Helene Performance.

Heard some great things about this filter from various M3 forums and based on how dirty my OEM filter was, this clean, new filter should add some MPG and a little improved throttle response to the S54 motor.

Had it on my 2003, great sound and sharp looks. Also buy the body color reflector replacements for the front and lowering springs. :)

I must be getting older....I'm okay with the stock exhaust and I don't hear the rasp inside the car and it is not as pronounced as the previous '01-'03 M3s that I have driven.

I'm okay with the orange front reflector.
