New E89 Z4 spy pics

That's quite the camo job. Looks like one of the BMW 'art' cars.

i like the longer look, i always thought the Z4 looked like it was scrunched up
|
looks like a 6er
|
I like the wheel package.

it's still a chick car to me...

I'm glad they took care of that nasty blind spot. Question is..... will the nem ZM Roadster get the V8?
|
The engine will be the interesting bit for me - if the M gets the V8 I might have to get it - on looks alone though, I am not sold on the new one. The snout is a bit too 'snouty' and the roof is a bit too round. It looks like someone punched up a shark.
The old one was a bit of a throw back - which is what attracted me to it in the first place. It looks like the new one will be shedding that old-school charm, which IMO is a shame ... but who knows - with the camo they could have hidden Heidi Klum in there and it would still look a mess to me :) |
Hard to tell with the camo, but the greenhouse looks too small for the body. Especially if you are looking in the general area where the small window behind the driver's window meets the body.

Hmmm...I kind of like it!

Interior spy pics.....
BMW’s next-generation Z4 roadster is due to arrive next year as a 2010 model, and contrary to numerous reports the new model will grow in both size and price. Heavily camouflaged prototypes of the car have been spotted testing at the Nurburgring and now we get our first detailed look at the new model’s interior. As revealed in these latest images, the new car will sport a similar cabin to the current car and will include a new multi-function steering wheel and convertible roof controller positioned below the gear-lever. The new Z4 is tipped to receive a folding metal hardtop to bring it into line with the Mercedes-Benz SLK and Mazda MX5/Miata. For BMW the benefits of the folding hardtop (security and reliability) outweighed the disadvantages of increased weight and less trunk space. Although styling details are being kept closely guarded, the new car is expected to feature styling derived from the CS concept including a wider and more pronounced grille and larger intakes up front. A long hood and a short rear decklid remain but the previous car’s circular taillights have been swapped with units that appear similar to those on the larger 6-series with rows of LED detailing. The engine lineup should include both twin-turbo and naturally-aspirated straight six engines, although there could be an entry-level model in Europe with a four-cylinder mill, while the flagship M Roadster is likely to get a brand new high-performance turbo six with around 350hp. This is to ensure the M-spec Z4 doesn’t step on the toes of the M3. http://www.motorauthority.com/images...hority_001.jpg http://www.motorauthority.com/images...hority_002.jpg http://www.motorauthority.com/images...hority_003.jpg http://www.motorauthority.com/images...hority_004.jpg http://www.motorauthority.com/images...hority_005.jpg http://www.motorauthority.com/images...hority_006.jpg http://www.motorauthority.com/images...hority_007.jpg |
looks like someone spilled a can of black and white speghetti O's...I can't focus on the car I'm getting dizzy

Nice Z4! But, with that price and a little bit more - I might as well get the M3 convertible.
|
much more aggressive looking then the previous versions

The Z4 is too sporty for my tastes. I'd rather relax in a E46 330ci cabriolet. The 650i cabrio is nice too, but a tad pricey and I wouldn't need the 367bhp. Perhaps a 630i would suit me well.

Another picture

eww, those fog lamps/driving lights can go. Looks like it has dual nose rings.

Bad photochop

Somewhat better chops, but still not true.

BMW Z4 Gets A Buttony New Interior
Those KGP spy photographers get themselves into the darndest locations. In this case, it's the inside of the upcoming 2010 BMW Z4. We have seen a glimpse of the interiorbefore, but this time around, it's nearly unprotected, which gives us the first good look at the center stack and controls. It seems BMW is going with a more button-and-knob-centric approach this time (thank God) and brightening the interior with some aluminum accents. One thing that gives us pause is the apparent lack of emergency-brake lever. http://jalopnik.com/assets/images/ga...4f532b19_o.jpghttp://jalopnik.com/assets/images/ga...98a0f1d8_o.jpghttp://jalopnik.com/assets/images/ga...9f120bef_o.jpghttp://jalopnik.com/assets/images/ga...a9e457fe_o.jpg http://jalopnik.com/assets/images/ga...d7a282ed_o.jpghttp://jalopnik.com/assets/images/ga...e2ee1256_o.jpghttp://jalopnik.com/assets/images/ga...982c2190_o.jpg |

http://img.worldcarfans.com/US/2008/...005.Mini2L.jpg BMW are currently developing the next generation BMW Z4,it is likely to have its worldwide unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show next year before it goes on sale later in 2009 as a 2010 model. Prototypes spotted in the past have used BMW's annoying signature camoflage making analysis of the model difficult, so to aid you in this process we present a couple of new renderings featuring a paintwork that is much easier on the eye. The chief rivals for the all new model will be the Mercedes SLK and Porsche Boxster, BMW will continue to offer a large range of engines which will include the twin-turbo 3.0-liter from the 335i and the Z4 M is set to get a new 4.0 liter V8 from the M3. There are also rumours of a diesel being available. As with all new models, engines are likely to benefit from the application of BMW's EfficientDynamics program, so expect some excellent fuel economy and emission busting figures to come out when it is released. |
If it looks anything like the above photos, BMW has a winner on their hands. :2thumbs:
|
They are missing the kidney grill frame and funny that they forgot the fuel tank cap/opening.

it's gonna be something esp with the hard top :)
|
considering what they did to the 3 series (when it first came out) and the new 7 series, im gonna wait till the real pictures start rolling out....
seems they only get it right mid cycle |
Big improvement from the last model...
they should drop the amber turn signal on the mirror....maybe make it white LED or something ... |

New Z4 pictures
Best styled bmw ever? ....!!# IMO yes :)

It must be cool to live in Regensburg. Every other day, you'd see a camoflagued BMW romping around the countryside or Innerstadt. I remember seeing F01 7ers being tested outside of Regensburg.
