Sounds very promising. The timing is perfect since my 2006 E90 lease ends June '09. :D I was really not looking forward to the option of getting into another E90 with the 335 as opposed to the 330 I have now. It would have looked the same and I would want a change. This way, I could have the refreshed front and rear, new iDrive, and DCT. Cool!

My X5 lease ends in October, I am planning go to 335XI, might extend the lease and wait for a 2009, though they might over incentives to take a 2008?

I dunno, I feel like it's following the lead of MMI in the Audis (which I could not use if my life depended on it).
I liked the clean look of the iDrive knob the way it is. I think functionality-wise, it works fine. Yea, it's not as easy to tune the radio, but I think switching between the audio modes wasn't that difficult. IIRC, it's just Menu > Entertainment and then you turn the knob left/right to choose between AM, FM, CD, AUX, SAT. Not that hard :dunno: |
