FINALLY!!!
 

Well Ladies and Gents... if you haven't heard yet, Hell must have officially froze over!!! Because I FINALLY got my very own BMW!!!

While I was in bed sick this past weekend Ken ran out to run some errands, and one of them landed him at the local dealer looking for an oil filter. The Parts Dept. was already closed, so he was admiring all the beauties they had on their lot, and started talking with Steve, one of the salesmen that work there that we had met last year at the Komen Event... Long story short, they had a couple that Ken thought I might like, so he started wheeling and dealing... and Monday, the deal was sealed...

I am SOOO excited. My love affair with BMW's started about 8 yrs ago when I drove an Aunt's 3 Series, and I have wanted one since. Over the years I have just wished and drooled each time we drove by the dealership, but thanks to patience and my amazing man Ken, I finally got it.

So, here she is! Everyone, meet Carmen :D

I can't express how thrilled I am... I am totally in love with this car!

I can't thank Ken enough for being patient with all of my whining over the years! And to him for thinking of me while he was out, and getting me my new baby.

Lots of "mod's" are already planned, and will be done over the next few weeks, I can't wait!!!

Harman/Vishnu or Eisenmann or RD exhaust (preferably quad tip to lose the Nissan Z or G35 look) I would consider Bastuck, but it has too deep of an exhaust note and it loses that identifying straight 6 sound.

and the pièce de résistance... 8.5 and 9.5x19 BBS LMs. Yes, she has a thing for LMs too and if mine had tires and fit her car, she'd probably fighting me for them right now. Of course mine are 18 which is the other thing keeping them off hers.

Hey brother - nice mod list. You going to do anything on the interior? I seen the Mtech kit in person, totally awesome. When you do the trunk, do a fade with the CF edge. AA has nice pieces for the FMIC and intercoller (I believe they are black/dark gray color). Don't forget to put some "braces"

Yeah, get those eyes checked ;) As for the next mod, it's not going to be shoes. We talked about it and she really really wants LMs... so those won't be till next year. Up next is blackline tails, shadow trim, and shadow grill. And since my LilBit is going from a FWD 135hp/132ft-lb tq to RWD 300hp/300ft-lb, I don't think any software or engine mods are very high on the list ;)

And as for the basics of Carmen... 02/08 build date, sparkling graphite, sport package, premium package, heated seats, usb/i-pod interface, logic 7.

Consider it done...will make appt. today ;)

LMs? Now here's another lady with great taste in vehicles and shoes (I'm sure figuratively and literally as well). Getting rid of all the chrome is a great start.
