Range of Remote
 

I have a 2008 535XI, which I assume has the same remote as the E70, it seems that the remote has a much shorter range than the older 2005+/- remote?
It seems that you need to stand next to the car before the car responds.

Has anyone had the same results?

I don't have a problem - still have good range
 

I don't use mine too often, as I have the comfort access. Occassionally I will use it from quite a distance - I park my X in a driveway across the street. If I'm not sure if I locked it or if the neighbors animals are playing to close, I hold it by the window and it works fine.
