Isn't a roadster supposed to be simple and devoid of fancy gadgets? It's supposed to be about the drive and the mechanicals, not going thru iDrive and adjusting the EDC (3 settings), DSC (3 settings), climate automatic (16-30°C), Servotronic steering assist (2 settings), seat heating distribution (infinitely variable between bottom and backrest), or the the colour of the exterior (6 settings).
The Z4 interior was acceptable in some respects. The climate controls were silly, and the gauges hard to read, but otherwise it was a fairly stark and plain interior. If one ordered sat nav, it retracted into the dash when not in use. The end.
Hey BMW. Can you make a setting that changes the speed limit on the current road? Ya know, just take your current "Speed limit display" and allow the user to adjust the speed limit itself, for optimum joy of driving? Thanks.
