Taking a break`
Much as I love the X5, and always plan to have one in the family, I'm taking a break. Going from the 3.0 to the 4.6is made me realise how much I am in it for handling, and not so much raw power.
I realized the mods it would take to improve the handling of my 4.6is, coupled with the fiercely declining value, was a very unwise move. These mods would include changing the steering rack, sway bars, suspension, etc. The 4.6is shall be forever known as the Ultimate Parking Machine due to it's ridiculous steering system which removes all road feel. So, this should keep me busy for a while, at least until I can pay cash for another 3.0 sport :) http://neoautos.com/ImageRepository/...0frontpass.jpg http://neoautos.com/ImageRepository/...20-%20pass.jpg http://neoautos.com/ImageRepository/...rsdoorsill.jpg Hope to still be around gathering information and helping where I can  |
I did not get it? Did you sell your X ?
A very nice M  ... let me know if you need more pics for the DEPO headlight |
ZCP? :wow:

It's ironic you parked the M3 next to a "Speed limit 30" sign  Nice car, I hope to have one of those one day as well.

My friend has the comp package and I would love to get my hands on a zcp steering rack (its way tighter!). All my mods will be geared toward handling with this one, sway bars coming next week. I traded in the 4.6is straight out (Although I lost quite a bit considering what I put into getting it perfect). Car is an '03 |
Well, that is one way to make your X5 handle better. Great car. Congrats!
The CSL wheels make what is already a great looking car look even better, IMO. The e46 M3 is a modern classic. Enjoy. |
Sweet M. Won't do snow like the X5, but it'll be a blast the rest of the time.

Great car, no one can deny that!
congrats! |
