M Sport Package to be offered for 3ers

I was at my dealer today and he informed me that BMW will be offering the M Sport Package on 3ers.

ZMP M Sport Package will basically consist of wheels, aerodynamic body pieces, sport seats, PDC (rear), sport suspension, M steering wheel (with 6MT only), Shadowline trim, anthracite headliner, and increased top speed limiter.

And... you can get a 3er in Le Mans Blue :mmm: but that is exclusive to the M Sport Package.

You mean this one?

I don't think it's that one exactly. I know the European market has had the M Sport option but it will be new to us in North America. That's why I posted it. We've felt rather deprived here and it's nice to get some of the goodies offered in Europe. You'll soon be seeing Le Mans Blue 3ers running around.

My dealer did not yet have any photos/brochures but he did give me a print out of the features and codes for each. The M door sills and shorter gear lever are not mentioned.

Kevin:

Go to www.bmw.ca and build one. You can even choose Lemans Blue. It isn't that North America doesn't have them, it is that the US doesn't have them.

The configurator doesn't list either M door sills or the short shifter, but it doesn't list those items for the 535 either, and my 535 MSport (2008 model) has both. I don't know about the top speed limiter on either model in Canada, and the US could be different than Canada in any case.

I should have known. :tsk: I did a search but not thoroughly enough.

I'm contemplating a possible E90 with M Sport when my current E90 goes back in June.
