Is It a Good Idea?
 

I was waiting for a while now for the new facelifted 3 Series to arrive here at my place, but this waiting is killing me...

It supposed to arrive at first quarter of 2009, but due to the world financial situation, BMW importer here is delaying it more and more...

The last visit to the nearest dealer was today, I got the info that it may not be here before September 2009 :dunno:

as for this, they are making a good deal on the all the new 3 Series with the previous facelift (2008 model), it seems that they have some in stock and they want to sell them fast, I can get it new and save about 4500 ~ 5000$ and sure it has all the things I want in the 2009 model except for sure the facelift itself.

what do u think? is it a good idea to take this deal? or just wait as I waited almost 6 months now!! :confused:

Pentium, I am not memorizer/follower of what the facelifted models will look like, so I can't compare and sort of don't care...
it seems to me that the current 3 looks pretty good and that $5Gs off, (maybe more on the ones sitting), is considerable.

I understand the NewCarJones coupled with the "next" model, but if you are craving one, and it has the stuff you want,
why wait and pay the new model "closer to list" premium?

yeah the one with the offer has all the stuff I want and the thing is only it's the 2008 model like I told you...

there are some visual differences and fixes between the two models..but really It's a good offer and I kinda liked it...

I'll see what's will happen..

how much is it with the 4-5k off? if its a good price, i would go with it.

Also remember that if you sell it later on, you will get at least 4-5k less because it is a year older and older styled.

If you can afford the new model, I'd get that.

the prices here can be different from US, but it's a good price compared to our prices ;)

and sure I know, it's a year older...but I will lose when I sell it anyway! 2008 or 2009...

I didn't decide until now...and the dealer called me today to tell me that there are only 6 cars left and 1 of them are the Alpine White which I want...
