TV Mute + AV input blanks the screen
 

Hi Guys,

Recently I purchased an IntraveeII, Alpine KCA, TV In Motion & AV Input Package Deal.

Yesterday I installed the IntraveeII and KCA. These worked perfectly.

Next I installed the advanced TV-in motion cable. The TV works now while the car is moving, however it says MUTE on the TV channel and obviously you can't hear the TV.

I then installed the An AV Input/Output Lead, however once this was plugged in, the TV/Satnav screen would remain blank. You could still hear the ipod/radio etc, but nothing appears on the screen. I've removed this for now.

So 2 issues there, I hope you can help out on. The car in question is a May 2001 E46M3 CAB with Mk3 (4:3) satnav.

Update - Fixed this myself today. If you are seeing MUTE on the TV screen its because some cable somewhere is loose ! (obviously), it also relates to getting a poor TV signal. Anyway, I removed both the Blue and White plugs from the TV tuner, and put them back in again, and I now have sound when watching TV.
