530 I trunk problems
 

I have a 2004 530i and yesterday I started to have a problem opening the truck from inside the car. I press the button to open the trunk and it doesnt work, so i try to open it from the out side by having the doors unlock and nothing will happen. The only way to open the trunk is by using the remote. I need suggestion on how to fix this problem. I think its a fuse but not sure.

Checking all the fuses having to do with central locking (front and rear) is definitely the first place to start. If all the fuses are good it may end up being the latch itself. (the electronics are built into it)
