AC Issues
 

Hi,

I was wondering if you could help. I am having trouble with AC. Below is what I have tried and I was wondering if you have any recommendations as to what to purchase and of could I would love to get a quote on the parts. Thanks.

So here is what is wrong with the system... When I run the HVAC without the airconditioning on.. It works fine. When I activate the AC it continues to work for about 15 minutes and then there is no air... If I turn up the fan I can hear the fan run but it is like there is a gate blocking it. I will then press the AC button to disable the compressor and within a couple of seconds the air is coming out at full force.... I replaced the final stage resistor and now I have replaced the ac control module (Part number is: 64 11 6 916 648)... I am not sure what else to check or replace.

I have a 2002 X5 3.0....

im not sure what else it could be. you changed the most common parts the final stage and the control module. i would thake it to a dealer and have them take a look at it.
