How much for an Auxilary cable (I want to add Auxilary to my car)?

BMW doesnt make an Aux input for your car. They make one for cars produced after 10/2002.

Can't he swap Business CD units and get the mode button, and Aux input

Yes you could. If you got a radio from a car produced after 10 of 2002 it would work.

Note that you will need adapter cables to install a radio module from a newer X5 into a 2001, as they changed from a round pin connector design to a flat pin design. I did this in my 2001 and it works fine.

Can you explain this in more detail? I searched the e39 forums and came up with nothing. Maybe this can help others :dunno:
