Original BMW Leather Key Case
 

Hi everyone,

I just wonder how you currently keep you ignition key. I am interested in getting the leather key case from BMW-online. However I am not sure if the old-fashioned key will stick out of the case. Any idea what the measurement of the case is and has any of you bought the case for your old key too?

E53 Key will not fit in the new leather case, it will stick out and will look crocked. Do not try it, I did and it did not look good at all. I am using the new case for what it was made for, the new key only. The size is just enough to cover the new key style, so when you twist it open, you can put the whole key in the new starting slot on the dashboard.

Thanks for the good advice but still the case looks rather nice and it's just not for me then I guess.

By the way, any cool case for the old key we can get anywhere?
