Best "Angel Eye" halos on the market?

Okay, this may be a redundant question, and I'm sure many of you are going to direct me to the "search" key above, but I've been searching through the hundreds of threads about AE's and still can't figure out which are the best to go with.

That being said, I will ask. Who out there can honestly tell me which are the best halos on the market? Should I buy cheap eBay ones? Should I spend the extra cake on Angel iBright from eAs? Should I go wit LED?

Any input will be awesome! And I'm sure many others out there would appreciate the info as well.

Thanks!

I know this is a really old thread, and yes, I'm bumping it up from the dead, but I didn't see it before. If you haven't made a solution yet, I would personally go with Angel iBright:

We are the North American distributor for AiB and have plenty in stock.

- 3X BRIGHTER than V2.0, the brightest angel eye kit on the market
- Includes all US and Worldwide X5s including 3.0i, 3.0d, 4.4i & 4.8is
- Complete OEM fitment and better than OEM finish
- Much brighter compared to OEM yellow, or ANY competitor
- 4500-6000k to match the low beam xenon- headlights
- Easy installation in 5minutes, you DO NOT have to remove the headlights!
- Patent-Pending Technology

Ive asked my dealer about installing brighter angel eyes. My SA said that the heat produced from them will harm my seals (he said he knows a guy who comes in with those problems all the time). How do i know the AIB will not do this?

Your dealer is making a very generalized claim without knowing all the facts.

AiB is LED based and produces little to no heat.

Is this not an option for pre-faced lifted e53? Or does that where the glue, headlight, born on date comes into play?

No, the X5 will need to be equipped with Angel Eyes from the factory in order to be compatible with AiBs.

If I buy these 2nd hand (someone purchased them from you, but they are getting rid of their car and I buy them) does the 3 yr warranty still apply?

Unfortunately no it does not... It's a limited 3year warranty, with the limited part being non-transferable. But we haven't had a problem with these in the past so just make sure they're in good up and running condition and you should be fine.

Obviously if you would like to have that 3year warranty behind them, you'll need to purchase them new.

Quality by far. The MYCARR units can't hold a candle to the AiBs.

We are phasing out the remaining MYCARR units we have left over.

I understand,i would love to see some pic comparisons.
300$ for 2 Bulbs is kinda expensive.I would love to see why i'am spending 150$ more.
Can you please post?

The MYCARR units can be found in this thread: http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-related-...aes-139-a.html

The AiBs are much more advanced in lighting output and power draw. You will not find a person disappointed in performance.
