i'm debating between an 05 X5 and an 07 X3. same options (panoramic, navi, heated seats/wheel). on the 05 x5 i don't like the steering wheel..can this replaced with a newer one?

can i retrofit the new wheel into the 2005 x5 (which already has the heated wheel with controls etc) with a newer x5 one, or anything factory bmw one?
