Sirius adapter

I understand that there is a BMW part: Sirius adapter ,that woud allow the headunit in an 06 (singe disc in dash) to receive the satellite broadcasts.
Unfortunately this part is on back order ???? Anyone have one that they would be willing to sell?
Thanks Daniel

BMW has this receiver on a parts freeze until March, your only source would be used at this time.

A "parts freeze"? What is that exactly?

Anyone have experience with these add-on units? I'm thinking about adding one to my 06 with NAV. Do they work well? Do you have to disconnect the CD changer?

It means that your BMW parts counter will not sell any new modules until the freeze is lifted by BMWNA.

What about XM Radio? We have a unit that emulates the Sirius tuner 100% including text display, presets and steering wheel control - the only difference is XM programming.

Did you ever upgraade to SIRI OR XM?

As I noted back in Feb, I bought the kit from EAS and it took 5 minutes to instal, have not listened to "commercial" FM since.

I still haven't pulled the trigger on this yet. Anyone else have experience with these units either good or bad?
