For sale: hitch mount bicycle rack BMW x5
 

this is a bike rack made specifically for first gen x5. it swings out of the way so you can access the rear hatch. you much have a trailer hitch!

it has locking clamps to secure your bikes. holds up to four bikes.

will probably work on 2nd gen x5 and even x3 but you will have to test fit in person.
