E53 KW V3 Coilovers

Hi all.

A friend has given me a Bilstein suspension kit which I'll be fitting shortly. So I'm looking to sell my current KW V3 coilover kit I have fitted.

The KW's have been on my X since November/December 2012 and are still under KW's 2 year warranty (UK but I have a printout from a renowned UK geo specialist showing all 4 corners fully tested).

I paid £1400 ($2400) for this kit and it really is one of the best kits out there. This is an ideal replacement for your standard setup OR to replace the problematic air suspension.

I'm going to be looking at £950 ($1500) for this which is a great saving over a brand new kit (as still covered by warranty).

Although I'm in the UK I'm happy to ship to wherever and do a deal on combined kit/shipping).
Cheers,

Raj.

I'd take them off your hands in a heartbeat if there was a way they'd fit on my 02 4.6. But KW themselves say it will not workmwith thenrear air suspension. Apples to oranges.

Actually Bruce that is what KW said to me too and I've fitted 3 sets to 4.8is's that had full air suspension including my own.

It can be done but just needs a few OE bits and a scanner or the same to uncheck the check control message from the dash.

Thanks,

Raj

RajB, are you aware KWs warranty is non-transferrable?

Warranty claims are done thru the authorized KW dealer that sold the kit, and MUST include the receipt (name on receipt must match person filing warranty claim).

Are you going to provide all shipping costs to get these items returned to you, and handle all work related to a warranty claim should the buyer need it?

Terms & Conditions KW Suspensions

Yes I am fully aware of the warranty situation hence why I specified it is UK warranty. I only mentioned the warranty more as peace of mind the kit has been fully tested and that they are less than 2 years old. When buyin anything secondhand there is always a fear factor of something going wrong or it not being as described etc. so I was merely trying to put peoples minds at rest that they are in full working condition if someone from the US were interested.

It is a secondhand kit and the price is accordingly set compared to new.

Do have all the proper material for conversion? Now I'm thinking with all these " inactive, dropping air, slamming in the morning" maybe it's time. Lol. Need a quote

Ride was a lot stiffer than the air suspension but not unbareable and felt a lot more complient. I really liked it tbh.
