well well well.

Just checking in to see if those people who support Trump are proud of their president.

Not 'we are getting judges'

Not 'we got a trillion dollars back to rich people'

Not even 'he is beating up the chinese'

Not 'he isnt obama'...and not 'pelosi this or schumer that'

Are you proud of how he makes you feel as an American?

This week should be telling as to how the country feels about Trump and the Republicans in general. They are complicit in his bafoonery in that they refuse to say anything negative about what he says/does. They barely made an utterance of disapproval when he pulled troops back in Syria.

Anyway, we'll see how it goes.

Technically, not yet. Like Clinton before, still has the Senate trial to complete the impeachment process.

There is so much misunderstanding about impeachment. Impeachment is an indictment to be recorded for history. The Senate trial is a separate function to decide if there will be removal. He has been impeached. Whether or not he is removed from office is immaterial.

I understand impeachment quite well, thank you. If he is acquitted by the trial, the impeachment doesn't actually stand. Yes, it is in history that he, like Clinton, was impeached by the House of Representatives. But, there are more aspects to impeachment than just the portion processed by the House. And yes I understand the trial is also in reference to removal from office. This is why, if acquitted, he is able to still run for re-election in 2020.

You mean, "This is why, WHEN acquitted, he WILL still run for re-election in 2020."

Unfortunately. Though historically, the last 3 times the impeachment process has gone through the House, the opposing party takes the presidency the following election. Maybe the Dems are hoping that trend continues. I'm not sure 3 examples represents a "trend" though and they might be overplaying their hand...

At this point I'm sick of the time waste. They all sound like a bunch of whiny children screaming "no you" at each other from opposing sections of the school yard.

LOL, yes. And I agree with your assessment of this as well.
