a blast to watch :)

Sorry. I thought her first gig as Palin was funny, but I didn't think this second was funny at all. Almost as if the writers were straining to come up with stuff, and it just ended up sort of mean.

Pretty good parody, imo...

Hope theGov and her handlers are watching; maybe
they can spruce her up a bit.

:iagree: Although the first half or so of the 2nd was pretty funny too, IMO.

:iagree: Tina Fey has been pretty open about the fact that she's not a fan of Palin. But then again, she's an actor, and actor's all believe that what they say has more weight than anyone else.

Actors lie for a living, no wonder they all love politics, birds of a feather.

I thought it was pretty funny. There were spots at the 3/4 mark where it descended and made Palin seem somewhat pathetic, but they are putting on a show, and if we didn't recognize some of those comments from Palin it wouldn't have been funny. In that sense, she is the architect of her own failure.

Hope her handlers focus on it and give her something to work with before she has to debate.

I think it's funny as heck! I didn't find it boring or forced at all!

Funny but you can't help to see the agenda behind the skit. How many disparaging Obama skits have they done?

Well, they did one the same night they did the Palin skit, it covered the debate. They took shots equally at McCain and at Obama, at least the part I watched. They also did a skit of Bill Clinton discussing Obama that night. I suspect you would have enjoyed both skits. NBC has videos of them on their site.

Apparently it was Lorne Michaels' convincing that got Fey to do the skit. Blame the Canadian. ;)
