OK, I can see no ID and just a registration card, but It seems strage without having to show any proof of ID or a voting card at all. Wouldn't that make it easy for someone to pose as someone who didn't vote as long as they had some readily available info? It doesn't seem very secure to me.

I mean, say I know that my friend or neighbor, who is roughly the same age as me, is not going to vote. What would stop me from going to the polls, spitting out his name, address and birthday and voting in his place?

Here in Florida, you have to have a picture ID with a signature. A driver's license, passport, or government issued ID card is about all that will work.

California you give less information than that. No ID or DOB just a name and address. That address can be anywhere, park, bridge or street corner.

Nothing.

In MD the only time you ever show ID is if it is your first time at that poll. Other then that....FREE FOR ALL.
