Schadenfreude is sort of a normal and deliciously human feeling I suspect.
What is it with all these guys? They really become to feel and operate like they are "above it all",
and feel they can order op/ed editors fired, bags of dough served up, and are consumed by disregard
for anyone but their own "deal"...WTF?! Hope he does a long time in some joint and gets has azz handed to him.

Too much corruption in Illinois State and other offices. Its not just the governor, but the whole environment which causes the new guy to go corrupt when he sees everyone is making money. Three previous governors were arrested and governor before Rod, George Ryan is still in jail doing his 6 year term.

I was born in Illinois but left after joining the Army for 27 years. However, knowing Illinois would be my home again I always kept tabs on what was going on. This does not surprise me at all. Illinois has been governed by the Chicago Political Machine since before the days of Al Capone. Nothing has changed and nothing will change so long as good people do nothing. Blagojevich is a product of that machine so in his mind he has done nothing wrong. I think it prudent to add the new President Elect is also a product of that machine.:yikes:
