Bank's Exec payout...You're gonna be angry!!
can you believe this F*in Sh$T???!!!!
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081221/...utive_bailouts I am dropping off the grid and no longer paying taxes!!! (ohh to dream) |
Wagner Opinion:
A parallel purpose to the bailout was to make sure certain class status was kept. The financial bombshell that hit this year was the first time, since 1929 that the classes could actually change or adjust in the US. There was SO much lost by the 'elite' that there was a probability of fall from grace. Part of the "bailout" made sure the rich..stayed rich. Opinion over. |

Most government spending is for this purpose. ;) |
Speaking of banks and "banks", (the two types are fuzzy to my eye in terms of definition these days),
the part the bankers love most, so far, is the fact that Treasury, Paulson et al, are content to view "the metrics" of TARP as opposed to requiring or even fookin asking the "bankers" how/where the doled out dough is going or how it's being used. WTF?! Execs at all but 2 of the bailed out banks reported that they felt "the money is fungible" so they "did not intend to track or report" specifically what happens to the tax payer's money, according to the GAO. This may end up being the best scam in my generation. It is Our money...and your grandchildren will be paying for it, assuming they are not back in caves by that time. One cannot make this stuff up. GL, as we and the next gen, will need it. mD |

You'd think they would have at least come up with a good excuse to give all this money to the large corporations, like another war or something similar. I think they are getting cocky to the point that they no longer even feel the need to have a good excuse to give our money away. |
Keith Olberman said that one day TARP will be refered to as "the reason dady went to jail" and I'm starting to see why!!
|
;puke; unbelievable, how do they figure this year warrants a bonus of any kind, no ones buying gifts(people are losing homes), people are hurting from angles they've never felt before, but these poor unmotivated people need more money to work harder, they should all lose there jobs and maybe something else.... viva la revolution. Really somethings got to give soon....and I'll bet the gov'ts thinking it will be the working class as usual
change...thats all we're gonna have in our pockets when all is said and done |

I know this IS a movie quote, but it is such a good quote "Man, I see in fight club the strongest and smartest men who've ever lived. I see all this potential, and I see squandering. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables; slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off." |
