I think when ever you have a new commander you have uncertainty.

That fact that we are getting rid of Bush more than makes-up for the uncertainty.

The opinions of those in the US military can be summed up by this one poll from 2006:

John Zogby - On a New Poll of U.S. Soldiers During Their Service in Iraq

85% said the U.S. mission is "to retaliate for Saddam's role in the 9-11 attacks"

must be nice to live in a land where you can "mock" those that defend you. :tsk:

Just pointing out that soldiers have many responsibilities while serving in the military, but having opinions about politics is not one of them, nor one they are particularly good at.

Anyone who in February 2006 still thought Saddam Hussein was behind the 9/11 attacks is _______

(fill in the blank)

I didn't say they were stupid, nor did I "put them in their place". I simply posted the results of a poll. I never filled in the blank in this sentence. Why don't you go ahead and fill it in.

yep, you sure didn't :tsk:

When people are ignorant and stupid, I'm going to say so. I don't care who they are. Just because they are good honorable people does not mean it is acceptable for them to be ignorant.
