Russia gas cut 'to affect Europe'
 

I wonder what effect this going to have.

A sharp cut in the supply of Russian gas to Ukraine will affect Europe within hours, Ukraine's state gas company Naftogaz says.

The same thinkg happend in 2006, and Europeans suffered dearly because Russia cut off the gas supply to Ukrain.

The reason europe suffers when the gas supply is cut of to ukrain is because 25% of the gas that is delivered to Europe transits through Ukrain, and therefore Europe sufferes, after 2006 Europe decided to fillup reserves and right now as we speak european consumers are using up reserves they have since 2006, but thats only couple weeks supply of gas.
Ukraine ows Russian giant Gasprom over 2 billion dollars and therefore gazprom has cut off the gas.
