The honeymoon is nearly over -

obama tried and failed to get some crooks into power, bring back bush.

"Change Is Here" And these are supposed to be our nation's role models. WTF? He can't find any honest people for these jobs? :(
Reagan was Right. |
Come on folks......
We are talking about politicians, imperfect human beings. Get a grip. Do any of you honestly believe the average "JOE" could do any better? I think not. Your asking for "HONEST PEOPLE" from a society who can't even obey a simple cell phone law. Quote:

Actually, it was Joe Biden that said it is our patriotic duty to pay more taxes. These guys can't even pay their own taxes and if they were ordinary citizens, they would have been in big trouble!!
Do you really believe Geithner blaming it on Turbo Tax? Could you imagine that you forgot to pay $140,000 of taxes? But, these politicians are not suppose to be "average Joe the Plumber" who also had some tax problems as well, by the way.... This has more to do to proper responsibility. Once Daschle was selected to Obama's cabinet, then he decides to pay his taxes??!! Maybe he should have H&R block look at his tax returns...;) I want America to get out of this rut and I am glad Daschle did the right thing and took himself out.... I guess putting together a Presidential's cabinet is harder thing to do these days.... |
I would venture to guess that Obama is not making most of the choices. Most of them (or maybe even all of them) were probably made through various deals prior to his election or even his nomination. You have to sell your soul to get into office. By the time you get there, there is not much wiggle room left.

So, what about Charlie Rangel? The guy who is in charge of the IRS also owes $10,000 in back taxes....which was over the last 10 years....Rangel was allowed to pay back without penalty or interest....So, if any of us made a mistake like Geithner or Daschle, we should invoke the "Rangel Rule".
It seems our tax code needs to be overhaul because even our politicians can't even figure it out! ;) |
