Early messages to the new President......if he steps out of line, he may not be so safe. Similar things happened the first few weeks when Clinton was president. A reality check for the guy who thinks he is really in charge.

In the past 50 years, two presidents have been shot. If you look into the details, in both cases the secret service did not follow proper procedure. The mistakes were not just minor, but were very obviously intentional. They were not on the individual level, but on the departmental level, i.e. agents ordered to NOT do things they normally do.

This is just a quick message to the president that he will not be safe if they decide so. I'm sure the message is a little bit more obvious to him than it would be to the general public, and we most likely do not have all the details.
