Congress Gets An Upgrade--WSJ
$550 million for new private jets? Now?
When does the insanity stop? Interesting WSJ article that has me one step away from collecting used tires for illuminating those upcoming street barricades. When Citigroup wanted to replace its three older planes with one newer plane the SHTF and Dear Leader made Citi cancel the order. Remember? The fat-cat Wall Streeters were branded as excessive? WTF is this outlay? "The House Appropriations Committee says the new purchases are designed to replace seven aging and more expensive business jets. The net impact is one additional plane owned by the federal government and a substantial increase in its passenger capacity." This is exactly what Citi was doing. I want to know which pin-head lobbyist managed to get this inserted. |
Woohoo, glad the AF didn't even ask for them, then Congress stuck them in a back end of an old budget so they didn't have to declare who added it.....

As I ranted in a similar thread, the elected geniuses need those G550s so
they can fly non-stop from DC to Bejing to view our debt held by the China gov't. These have become the LetThePeopleEatCake days... Wonder what all those trips to Kuwait are for? Checking up on how we saved their azzes from Sadam? |

So now Rep. John (I have an airport named after me) Murtha is back pedaling and blaming the military.
