define a method to get rid of "bad" doctors

define a method to get rid of "extortion" lawsuits

crack down on healthcare fraud (presently at 20%)

allow cross state line insurance compitition

standardize malpractice/tort reform across the nation

just these few things could dramatically reduce healthcare costs WITHOUT COSTING US ANYTHING!

EXACTLY! You could do these things quickly too with no protests from anyone, and they would give us nearly immediate benefits.

And if you want to "spend" some money, allow everyone to deduct the amount that is taken out of their paychecks by their employer for their premiums, giving everyone a a nice 20-30% reduction in premiums.
