I think what motordavid meant as "redundant" was the word politician after the word lying, and not the video on Obama lying about ACORN...

Quicksilver 03-04-2010 07:52 PM

I wasn't responding to Motordavid specifically.
All of this stuff is old tired non news that keeps
getting recycled..........

Old news...I can show a half dozen new topics where Obama has publicly in his own words on both sides of the issue. This was not old news and the half dozen examples I can produce are not ancient history as well.

Face it...Obama is a corrupt say anything to get elected Chicago politician.

And for the record I could care less if he is a Muslim or not. I don't believe he is or has been a Muslim but then again he can't be believed due to the many lies which are on record.

Quicksilver 03-04-2010 09:15 PM

OK; He's corrupt

OK; There's a dozen examples

Ok; He's a say anything chicago politician

OK; He can't be believed due to the many lies which are on record.

Circle the wagons. Now what?

Most of the lying I've heard lately has been by the republican party.
Hey don't get me wrong I don't really have a dog in this fight, but to
be an exclusive "Obama hater" as the sole champion corrupt figure
in Washington DC is to ignore the fact that they all share that
same shortcoming.

Bush was a terrible president and the only difference between the Democrats and Republicans is as follows:

Democrats Tax and Spend
Republicans just Spend

Both are irresponsible in my opinion.

Thunder22 03-04-2010 10:30 PM

Interesting, but how people didn't seem to care so much when it was Bush getting the treatment, but now that it's Obama, it's tedious, boring and beneath one's maturity. Nice double standard.

Were you able to type that with a straight face? :bustingup

Quicksilver 03-04-2010 11:24 PM

OH I don't know... Somehow I get the impression that everyone
was giving it to the bushman. After all he earned it. As time
went on it was hard to find anyone who voted for him.

So far not everyone is on the bash Obama train. Just
the select, mature, intelligent, know everything people...
Give it time though. No telling what's liable to happen.......:dunno:

If he does something really good everybody will be blowing
"the I knew him when" horn. (Fickle people)....:D

My question is why should will we expect more from so called leaders?
They keep doing the same thing after every election but people
keep going to the polls knowing full well nothing is going to change.
IMO that makes no sense at all. OBTW I didn't vote for OBAMA or
McCain for exactly that reason

You were obviously asleep the last 8 years. If anyone made a critical comment about Bush, you were labeled a hippie, tree hugger, broke communist.
