I think the tax cut compromise was big. He would probably be very happy to run against Palin, Chris Christie might give him a run for his money.

It's no fun debating politics without Wagner and MLG on the board. Hopefully they will return for 2012.

Sara Palin is a idiot. She would be 10x worse the Obama. I could do a better job then her, and I have ZERO experience in anything political. I don't think Obama is the worst or the best, I have mixed feelings. But to say that Sara Palin..... please, I wouldn't know where to start bashing, the options are endless.

Not on your life! I think that most people would agree that Palin is not the best representative of the conservative right. She makes an easy target who can be cast as the personification of how bad the right is. The thought of her ever running for POTUS is scary but would be celebrated by the left. I don't like her and I don't like Obama either. I actually don't like anyone in politics right now.

Did you not see her interview with Katie Couric??? Sara was unable to answer VERY SIMPLE questions, that even I know. (and remember I said I know ZERO about anything political)

Naz, do your self a favor, if you have not seen this interview, I would highly recommend searching it on you tube. Trust me, this was no "blind side attack". These questions were kindergarden questions that she show she has no phucking clue what is going on. And the thing that fires me up and BURNS MY ASS, is the GOP wanted this dumb twit to help run this country?!?!?!?

1) She isn't literate, she thinks refudiate and misunderestimate are words.

2) She thinks that living across the water from Russia gives her foreign policy experience

3) She didn't know what the vice-president did, when asked in an interview.

4) She couldn't name a single magazine or newspaper that she read regularly, when asked.

5) She was unable to name a Supreme Court decision that she disagreed with, other than Roe vs Wade.

6) She thought that the Democrats wanted to set up 'death panels' to kill off unproductive people instead of providing them with health care

7) She brought her family to Canada for health care services, while simultaneously describing that system as evil. For me, it isn't so much her incredible hyprocrisy, as much as her complete idiocy in admitting it in an interview.

8) Her knowledge of world affairs is so limited that she thought that North Korea was an ally.

9) Her knowledge of the US is so limited that she thinks the biggest island in the US is in Alaska. I guess Hawaii doesn't count.

10) Her memory is so short that she has to write notes to herself on her palm.

I could go on, but the essence of it is that she is a laughing stock. She is simply embarrassing.

All of the above have sources if any are in doubt. What is funny is that we could probably all come up with our personal 10 best Sarah Palin moments, and there would be little overlap, because there is just so much material to draw from.

Nice list! Palin was a huge disappointment and I mean HUGE. When I first heard that McCain had chosen her I thought it was quite cagy of him. Of course I didn't know anything about her. Then she started talking and that was bad. I don't think McCain had a snowball's chance in hell of winning the election, or any Republican for that matter, but Palin was the last nail in the coffin.

I do think the media is extra hard on her but she doesn't acquit herself very well when opportunities arise and she just continues to make herself an easy target. I'm not saying she's a beauty queen but I think that her relative good looks is part of the fascination with her, both positive and negative. I think if she was more "average" looking, whatever that might be, she'd have faded into obscurity long ago. That's just the reality of our media and our world.

Sorry for the sidetrack about Palin. Obama still sucks. :nanana:

nice list! i think that Palin has done far too much damage to go back into the presidential race..basically forever. I do think that the media did attack her more than they really should have though. I dont know much about her to tell you the truth..but, my sister is crazy about her politics. I may ask her what she thinks are her best traits..just for the sake of argument here ;)
