Hi Huntertec have you had any luck rectifying the problem you are having with your vehicle ?

Hi SKIER1, thanks for asking but no luck at this stage, some are pointing to the Boost Control Solenoid, or the Map sensor which sits at the rear of the inlet manifold, but there are no fault codes coming up for these, had the auto checked out and its fine. Total pain this one otherwise the vehicle is perfect. Next week I'm taking it to a mech who assures me his code reader will find it. Failing that I'll take it to Sydney for an All Wheel Dino, the same people that did the remap some years ago, with it running and hooked up they might be able to pinpoint where this siren sound is coming from. Cheers.

Hi Huntertec. Any good news on the problem with your vehicle yet? Just curious if you have found the issue as yet and what it was .

The ulimate fix
Hi Skier, well I did fix it.... I traded it in and bought a Jeep SRT8 ALPINE. Yes an expensive fix but it did the job . Seriously I sold it for business reasons at 8 years old I was advised to trade up so now I own a Jeep, (doesn't sound the same does it ) I looked at the Euro Sav's and for the money it was impossible to beat. Fortunately fuel isn't an issue with business, but in saying that I can't complain with deactivation of 4 cylinders when cruising, no complaints. Cheers.
