Thanks - I came to the same conclusion and did remove the rear window spoiler to check the connections. Everything looked ok. I will continue troubleshooting until my next scheduled service

I have the factory indash Navigation system in my 2002 X5 4.6is. My radio will no longer tune an FM station. I only get static or white noise when I turn up the volume and scan for a radio station....
