I don't think so. You have to remove the plate...

I don't think so. You have to remove the plate screws, then 4 screws from there. Or you can just unscrew the whole unit from the tow hook socket


Edit: just checked and it is only the lightened...

The aux states it's for X5's 10/2002 - on. the PN...

The aux states it's for X5's 10/2002 - on. the PN is 82110149391. If the aux hooks up, then the rest should work.

I didn't have a tow hitch on the car. Just the TTM to activate rear fog lights.

A/C refill: Where's low-pressure port on N62 (05 4.8is)

I Believe there is a leak in my system. Want to read the low side pressure and make sure it's 25-35psi. Anyway, where the hell is the low-pressure port on the 4.8is? Is it near the windshield washer...

Thanks for letting me know. It seems to be leaking from the end. I usually check hoses for "toughness", but this area was hidden by air intake snorkel.

I replaced the expansion tank last June and...

I replaced the expansion tank last June and majority of coolant was changed then. Is there a DIY to replace water pump, thermostat, and the rest of the hoses?

Coolant low every 6 weeks, and white crud behind radiator... HELP!

while topping up coolant tonight (regular 6 week occurrence)., I discovered a ton of white crud around the plugs on the passenger side of the radiator. Is this where I'm loosing coolant? If so, how...
