I can get the S/T in 255/55R18 for $155 a piece.

Is there a reason to go with the S/T IIs instead? I like the tread pattern on the older S/T version and have seen comments with people get 30K...

Yep, that's useful info. If you have a 2006 4.8, you've 1 of 973 ... of the 26,798 total X5's built.
