I am not going to deny you have a point but out of curiosity, what is the point of doing a leakdown test if it gives such inaccurate results? And I know most mechanics claim they'd prefer a leakdown...

Yep, tested it a couple of times and no more errors. It was only a 1mm or so off center. I actually used German Auto Solutions tools which are supposed to be very accurate for timing so I am not sure...
