suspension self leveling inactive

Hi there,

I'm new here and i am hoping i can get the help that i'm looking for. I have a 2002 Bmw X5 which has a self leveling inactive error and the back end is riding low, are these 2 problems...

My question is that by the self leveling inactive malfunction, does it affect the height of the vehicle in the rear? I have that same error but my back end is low what do i do?
