I will try that too...also when i start it cold it sometimes went into transmission failsave prog. I "reset" the tranny using that technique with keeping the gas pedal down and it seems it hade...

I recently bought a 2005 Bmw X5 4.4i xDrive and sometimes when i brake almost to a stop and i accelerate right after (smoothly) the car kicks realy hard like someone just hit me from behind....
