Put in a new VDO maf for X5, for 100km test drive...

Put in a new VDO maf for X5, for 100km test drive all seemed fine now. No lean code's so far.


Also worked with F10. Washed it and retrofitted heated steering wheel.

Took it out from garage. Battery was dead for...

Took it out from garage. Battery was dead for sitting over month. Gonna change fuel pump tomorrow hopefully and need to get it inspected.


EDIT: fuel pump changed. did not help on the lean issue....

Fitted style 168 to F10. Wish I had coilovers already, could lower it 15-20mm more....

All of my fuel pump failures have happened at around 226k miles so we are far from that but... It's cheap and pretty much last old component around the fault and symptoms area.

Haven't noticed any hesitation, but somehow it feels low on power after 40mph when you hit throttle. Under that it does accelerate fine.


I will most probably order new pump anyways, since car...

It wasn't lambda issue. Both banks are lean. Multicaptive is 12 and more speed you drive more integrators are on + side. While cruising 50+ mph integrators goes way over ten. And just noticed that...

I got new valve cover and gasket. I've done many smoke tests and have not found a leak anymore. Guess I gotta try once more if lambda isn't the culprit.

Yep, petrol is just around 2€ per litre here. Diesel is pretty close too, around 1,8-1,9€ per litre.
