It can be. Normally if the X5 has rust on the subframe and that is not addressed promptly. Then things just go from bad to worse!


Always a good idea to keep an eye on what is going on underneath...

Rear Sub Frame cracked.

Yes, i think the common sense approach would be to start with a good examiniation of the part, clean it and if it needs to be replaced, then i will replace it.
