I also tried to manually simulate the pairing button with a temp short-cut on the supposed appropriate pins, but did not work. May be I missed identified the correct pins...
Any chance you try these...

No I did not find any solutions to fix that problem, so I am now using a second SIM card that enabled the phone in the car.
