Sorry, hanging onto all extra parts as I now have 2 e53s and am considering buying a third. They make great loaner cars when any of my 9 kids (3 from my wife, 6 from me) needs a loaner.

Ding Ding Ding Ding!

My MS43 w/EWS delete showed up while I was out of town. I plugged it in and now the X5 purrs like a kitten.

Stepping away for the next 10 days and will pick up with this when I return, though I've done multiple compression checks, checked the plug gap, swapped the plug, etc.

As for frequency, if the engine is at idle, it will run for a bit, up to 3-5 minutes at times, before misfiring. under load, it is almost immediate.

The pressure on the rail dropped from 50 to maybe 46 and then it held. With the car running it is at 50 idling and under load after re-testing.

I am getting codes P0174 and P0305 and have a rough idle.

I have replaced:

plugs
coils
injectors
O2 pre-cat sensors
MAF
