Installed today. Excellent. Everything that i was looking for. Only a shame that BMW can't put the artwork/videos on the screen. As speedy as the CD changer. Doesn't charge my ipod 3g.

I got quoted a similar price. But didn't go for it in the end because of bad reviews of the kit. Slow etc. If you get it and it's any good, PM me please.

The dealers favourite line is "worked fine when we tested it." I hate that. I wouldn't bring it in if it worked!!!!! Some faults are intermittent but they just don't want to know. Write to BMW...

To be fair, it's a 50 grand plus car and the PDC should come on instantly. I have the same problem as this guy. I love idrive but it's crap slow for the price we pay. Just calling a spade a spade.
