It displays Check Control Messages, Low FUEL, Cruise control setting (in Green which is cool), seat belt warning, SPEDO.. i think that's about it.

Depends on the dealer actually, some will charge you $350 for a software update for an "08" feature. You're better off telling them your transmission shifts roughly or something along those lines...

This is not true. Do some research, lots of cars in auctions are good low mileage cars, but there are some bad ones as well. Dealers routinely auction off cars they can't sell, high and low mileage...

X5 is a good handling SUV, probably much better than any SUV out there, but compare it to even a lowly 3 or 1 series in handling? :rofl:

I agree 100%, it's arguably BMW's best exterior design ever. Interior isn't bad either. The 335ic also feels a lot more solid than the X5, but maybe it's the size? :dunno:
